… for NFL, I had read an article about Tim Tebow in Broncos. The first article I read about it was on ESPN.com and the subject was Tim Tebow and his victories in Broncos. I don’t remember what game they were talking about but the main subject was ‘He's won seven of eight games…” . What could I do? Watch him! I don’t remember the game I watched because it was two years ago. However, I remember the way he played and I assure you it was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G. Tebow surprised me not only the way he played but for Tebowing. I’m Christian and it made me feel so happy! Also, it made me think about my life as Christian and that I could do the same for people as he does until now.
In 2012, he signed with Jets and I was excited because I could imagine that he could play amazingly well as he did in Broncos. It didn’t happen and I don’t think he’s guilty. I have my thoughts about it and I know that a lot of people will tell me something as ‘are you crazy? He wasn’t going well! He didn’t do anything!’. If you think something like this I respect you. But I need to tell that he does a great job in Broncos and also in Gators. I watched a lot of videos with him: news, fans videos, matches in NCAA and I didn’t forget a match with Kentucky! Woooow!
Ok, Let me back on the subject! I think that Jets didn’t do a job with him. I watched all season and I always saw him in some snaps or playing a few minutes. He could show more! Ok, the team is not a great team and for this reason I changed my team but my heart was always cheering for Tebow. (It’s not different now!) My team now is Green Bay Packers. I watched them for the first time when I was angry with Sanchez. I watched Packers vs. Bears and saw Clay Matthews and I thought about Thor. Not only for his pretty hair but his sacks … oh my God! Also, Rodgers surprised me because I saw him growing game by game. I thought they could play with Ravens on Superbowl but I’m keeping the faith that this time will be different.
This year, I watched the presentation and I was shocked when Pats cut Tebow. The last game with Giants I imagined a great season for him. Obviously, he just needed to do his training and training as usual. I talked with some friends on Twitter and most of them were sad as me and pretty upset for Pats. I’m watching Packers game and others too but for me the season isn’t the same without Tebow. Ok, maybe you’re thinking ‘you’re a Brazilian girl and you didn’t need to think of NFL! Your country has great soccer players!’ What can I do? Tell me! Great players, breathtaking matches… Tim Tebow… Clay Matthews… Aaron Rodgers… Peyton Manning…
I will share with you some friends of mine who has the same passion and I’ll try to show you how it is increasing here in Brazil. We have a lot of profiles on Facebook and Twitter. I’ll show you who they are, what team they cheer, who their favorite players are and when everything started.
I hope you have enjoyed this article.
