By Sueli Loiola Kaá is a Brazilian native word for 'leaf'. The restaurant belongs to a group. It was created by Paulo Kress and also, by chef Paulo Barros. it's a typical Brazilian restaurant but with a difference. Actually, the menu presents a combination of French and Italian cookery recreated with Brazilian ingredients. It's a good place to meet friends and family or if you prefer, you can do your Business meeting. The restaurant is recognized by American Institute of Architects in 2009 for their incredible architecture. Also, the Wallpaper from London chose them in 2010 as the best restaurant. A friend of mine from India said that this restaurant is incredible not only because of the place itself but mainly, because of the menu. In the menu, you'll find Red wine poached pear with gorgonzola, candied walnuts and frisée salad, Tuna tartare with mozzarella, mint and lemon, Mixed grilled seafood with crudaiola sauce and vegetable couscous, Seafood risotto with basil pesto, and a lot of appetizers, pastas, fishes and desserts. So, enjoy your time in Kaá. I believe you'll love it. | |
