How do you fell in love with NFL? Why did you start rooting for your team?
I fell in love with the NFL at first sight when I watched Saints play the Falcons at the Superdome in 2006. Before the match, the Superdome had been the home for a thousand people after following the devastation of hurricane Katrinas’ in 2005. This game opened up the Superdome once again. The Saints played very well in the game. In the first attack of the Falcons, they forced the 3 & Out, making the Falcons kick their first punt and at this moment, Steve Gleason rose and blocked the punt and converted it to a TD for Saints. At this moment, the Superdome exploded with excitement and people freaked out at the spectacle they had seen. This was because, for them, it wasn’t just a TD but something bigger: for them it was a restoration of their faith and pride, a response to everything that they had suffered through the natural disaster. ‘Who won the match?’ you say, the Saints, of course! To be quite honest, It wasn’t that important. After that moment, I was in love with the Saints: the colors, the people and the resilience. Someday I will go there to breath the mood of Louisiana. Heheh.

Do you know some team in your city? Do you cheer for them?
I know of the Osasco Soldiers. This is a team in the Western neighbourhood in São Paulo. It’s a new team and I even had the opportunity to watch their training. I wish for them a good luck in this new journey which the football is new in Brazil
When you sign up your Twitter account and what was the reason? Did you get a lot of followers? Have you already met with fans from your team?
The reason I started on Twitter was to talk with another fans of football and also journalists and critics of football and participate in their broadcast. I have a few followers whom I talk with every Sunday’s games.
Do you think that football can gain visibility here in Brazil? Can you see it now or it is distant future?
I think it will be possible but it won’t happen so quickly. Most people aren’t interested in such a long game, with a lot of commercials, with many English names for moves and just amercan guys playing. All of it, for most people, can at best be a little interesting. However currently for most Brazilians, it’s not that interesting..
Are there something in your team that make you nervous?
Yes. When we away from home and we lose a lot of the game in regular season or playoffs. We need to break this jinx as soon as possible,
What things on your team impress you?
The perfect line manner that Brees has with his receivers, Sean Peyton. I can say the same about the rest of the team , as well as their exceptional rooting.
Can you see your team making the playoffs?
I’m sure that I’ll see Saints on Playoffs and I think that we have chance to Superbowl. Go Saints.
Make a comment about you’ve been seen this season. In your opinion, which teams are going to do everything to make the playoffs and what don’t have any chance
I just want to tell one thing to the Falcons’ fans: prepare to shed a tear this season. We are back to full strength this year and we're going to take back our division! See you from the top!
