Maya, Inca, Aztec presents as us a lot of knowledge such as astronomy, maths, farming, etc. Until now, it's been studied by anthropologists and historians for a long time. These aspects are so interesting that we can consider all of them as part of a culture. Actually, we have a lot to learn with this culture. Did you already know this culture? No! Now, you have the opportunity to know it. It is here on MAM (Museum of Modern Art), aka Oca on Ibirapuera's Park. The exhibition happens from Tuesday to Sunday. If you're here in São Paulo, you have an incredible chance to know this museum and also, to acquire a huge knowledge about this people and their culture, way of life, etc. It's organized in sections. Firstly, you'll hear an introdution about the Mayas' history. Also, there's 8 sections* which is organized 'The man and the nature', 'Community and daily life', The heart of cities', "The man, the time and the universe', 'The rulling elites and the history', 'The holy', 'The man and their gods: the rituals' and finally, 'A way: funeral rites'. The exhibition is a partnership with UNAM (Universidad Nacional Autónoma de Mexico) where the tutor of the exhibition teachs. Her name is Mercedes de la Garza. Other partner is INAH (Instituto Nacional de Antropologia e Historia). Also, the researchers from INAH are involved in this huge project. You'll enjoy the exhbition. I'm sure!
