One of most important concert hall in Brazil, Sala São Paulo is headquarters of OSESP – São Paulo Symphony Orchestra – in a inspiring building. In the middle of 19th century, it became a Sorocaban Railway. As we known, the economy in Brazil was coffee and all constructions was around coffee transportation from countryside to Santos Harbour, of course to send it for Europe. The station was designed by Cristiano Stockles in 1925, a time to growing for both: coffee and railway. Many railway were created to transport coffee, another example is the railway from Jundiaí which was financed by Baron of Maua. That’s other history to tell you.
