When I was a little girl, I woke up every Sunday earlier than usual. It was time to watch F1. I always was excited because in every race, my eyes were on Ayrton. It's true that we had a lot of great drivers like Niki Lauda, Gilles Vileneuve, Jim Stewart, Alain Prost and of course, we can watch some great drivers nowadays but it's different. In my opinion, the 80's were the greatest time in F1 with the greatest drivers I've ever seen. The racing had a kind of magic, everybody ran because they loved what they did. Nowadays, racing on F1 seems like a battle to be a gods which means the first is a god and the rest are insignificant.
Ayrton was a kind of guy who fought for his dreams with honesty, hard work and obstinace. Do you want to know why we Brazilians love him so much even though it has been 20 years of his death? It's simple! Because he was a guy who worked to get his goals and all he did, he did with his heart and passion. It's an inspiration for us in Brazil because some people in the world think that we're lazy, without creativity or we don't like to do our job and get our goals by ourselves. He showed to the world who Brazilians were and how long we strive for our goals.
A way we keep his history alive is through a new exhibition with photos, helmet and other stuffs which speak to us about his own history, This exhibition on Palácio da Justiça has been organized by Adilson Carvalho de Almeida in partnership with Ayrton Senna's rooting (TAS). For every fan of F1 and for his great driver.
This i racing happened on Interlagos (Sao Paulo) in 1991. He won for the first time with only one gear, the 6th. In my opinion, it was the best racing I've ever seen in my life.
I love write these articles. I live in Sao Paulo since I born. Sao Paulo is a huge city with a lot of things to do: shows, plays, exhibitions, cinema festival, pubs... Here I'll let you know some places I like to visit. It's a pleasure for me share it with you. I just want to ask you a thing: Please, have a fun time!
